I don't remember that one, but I do remember begging my mom and dad to let me stay up late to watch The Flintstones and The Jetsons when they were first running in primetime in the early '60s.

The Flintstones also became the first primetime animated series to last more than two seasons; this record wasn't surpassed by another primetime animated TV series until the third season of The Simpsons in 1992.

Does that count? :)

Yes.

What year of school is Hank in, and is this his first time being an RA? I ask because both the current strip and his conversation with his mother suggest he's angry with Lisa's attitude because he sees it as part of a pattern of naïve, sheltered froshes, and I'm wondering, has he actually known enough froshes to generalize like that?

What are froshes? Is it another term for freshmen?

Also, it feels really strange to see someone refer to "Albert and Victoria" rather than "Victoria and Albert". But I enjoy your choice of alternate name.

On the scale from criminally negligent to helicopter parents, what were Lisa's parents like?

I can see they gave her enough freedom to have odd hair.

Hank is a junior, and felt this way about freshmen when he was one himself.

Coulda sworn I answered this before. Lisa's parents are pretty comfortably in the middle.

For some reason I thought Hank was postgrad or something. OK. That explains why his childhood cartoons are in the same age bracket as Lisa's, all stuff I've heard of but never seen.

So the city next door is Albertville instead of Williamsburg?

Clearly the city would be "Albertburg" not "Albertville". Shucks, don't you know city naming conventions in Virginia? :P

I am joking here, please don't be mad. ;-;

In all seriousness, if you look at a Virginia map, more of the larger cities end with -burg, including Williamsburg, Harrisonburg, and Leesburg, rather than -ville.

Hey, not to be a prude, but what's QB rated? I assume a higher rating since we don't have the "warning, sexytimes ahead" banner like P&A used?

I know it might be an uncomfortable question, but I'm interested from an artistic perspective: what was the panel description for the art of the last panel of today's comic?

I haven't even thought about rating this one, honestly. I guess "mature readers" covers it. The series is ABOUT sexuality in various forms, after all.

Largely abstract panel, featuring the colors of the room and the lead characters’ two bodies. The color of Chrissie’s darker flesh dominates the composition, especially so as the reader’s eye travels down and to the right. Lisa’s captions are pink, and Hank’s are “blond.”

"Lead characters" here meant Chrissie and Lisa, not Sara and Lisa, natch.
