By some Koreans perhaps but South Korea is a largely Christian nation, and she did call it reciprocal rape. While someone might not like their husband dating outside their race, reciprocal rape it would not be.

I'm not asian myself but I have heard some Korean and Japanese women talk about how marrying a foreigner is often not a problem just dating one is (because the stereotype is that Americans take good care of their wives and are rich. or something).

No. I think we're going to see her bang NOT her husband. Look at the background. That looks like the door to a shitty motel room, see the chain lock? No one shags in a room with a chain lock unless its a motel room. If she was having sex with her husband, it would be at home, presumably in a bedroom with a normal dooring situation. She could be having sex in the front entry way, true, but I don't think that's the case.

I think we're going to see how out of control Isuel is over her life, as demonstrated by an affair (WATCH OUT FOLKS! DRAMATIC IRONY HEADING THIS WAY!). Also consider the sort of sad facial expression she has, I interpret that (given my other suspicions) as she's doing something she knows is wrong/wish she could stop doing.

I'm kind of disappointed in Iseul if you're right, though. I've got very Rikk-esque views toward love and marriage (so maybe my earlier suggestion was just wishful thinking. *clings to the Levacs as evidence that love can still survive in this universe*)

The problem is that excusing herself draws their attention back to her in a way that very specifically underlines the fact that they were kind of ignoring her. Timed perfectly, that aspect will, itself, be ignored. But perfect timing is difficult to achieve. Far more likely, she'd just break whatever rhythm exists in the conversation, leading, in turn, to a premature halt of said convo. She's deliberately trying to NOT box-block, is what I'm saying.

I'm inclined to agree with those who've been saying Lisa really needs to make some new friends. She can't expect to just hang with Sara all the time. If Lisa were shy by nature, I'd understand her attaching herself to Sara, but "shy" and "Lisa" are two words that don't exactly go together.
