Give her a break. It must be exhausting to be that stupid.
L.A.'s climate is hot. Unless the air conditioning is on too high, there'd be no reason to sleep under the covers.
I'm more amused at her being so exhausted (whether by the work schedule, the stress, or her own stupidity if you will) she's fallen asleep with her head at the foot of the bed and feet on the pillow.

Next episode: Sara toss and turn in her sleep, and wake up with a broken laptop screen. All she needs to do is roll to her left side and let her knee exert pressure on it, it'll be enough.

I wonder if the episode that caught Sara staring blatantly at Lucy's rack aired, and Daphne is upset or needs time to cool off, which is why she's not online to talk to Sara.
OR! *puts on tinfoil hat* They've messed with Sara's computer to block Daphne so Sara can't talk to her and will THINK that Daphne's abandoned her!! Or kidnapped her! Or sent her a sexy girl to seduce HER as well!!!

OR! They not only kidnapped Daphne, but turned her into a guy. A gay guy. And then brainwashed him and sent him to seduce Fred, without him knowing who this mysterious "Danny" used to be, until--dun dun dunnn--The Reveal!
Wait a minute, that's completely unrealistic and insane. They could only do that if Daph and Fred were also in the show. Sara, however, is fair game. Only it might be more fun if, instead of changing her gender, one morning she woke up from troubled dreams and found herself transformed in her bed into a monstrous vermin...Oh, is it time for "group" again, nurse?

I was wondering the same thing. At some point, I imagine, we're going to see what the TV audience sees of these goings-on. So far, all we've seen in that regard is the moment when Martin climbs on top of the set because he's offended by Hilary's language. Meanwhile, however, T has been Teasing us with all those "Camera 23" panels, particularly when Sara hath coveted her neighbours' boobs.
On that note, I wonder whether today's strip takes place the morning after her temptation/confrontation with Hilary. If so, then although Daphne could've seen the "incriminating" bits with Lucy, not enough time has passed for the Hilary incident (conveniently edited, of course, to remove the part where Sara tells her off and kicks her out) to be aired. If this isn't the morning after, it's remotely possible that "scene" could've aired, thus potentially upsetting Daphne even more. But probably not...yet.
Also, I'm wondering how Hilary's "I will let you continue to 'handle' your co-stars, Sara" is going to be worked in. Double entendre potential, right there.
And then there's still the question of how Rich fits into all this. Perhaps her concern for his welfare, and frustration over her inability to talk to him, will be a secondary contributing factor to what, as Megan suggests in the first post, may be her imminent nervous breakdown. How very "character-building."
The more I think on it, the less likely it seems to me that the incident of Sara staring has already aired. It just doesn't seem like much time has passed given the flow of this arc. I've moved on to predicting that the footage will be used elsewhere, to make Sara look worse...though, ogling a sleeping woman's breasts *is* pretty lecherous, so if they're going for the lecherous lesbian thing, then jackpot.
So I guess I assume that Daphne's not online for some other reason--oversleeping or made early plans, not because of anything that aired.

Maybe the reason why Daphne hasn't contacted her yet is she's preoccupied with whatever fallout has resulted from Cyndi's assault. I'm assuming at this point in the beginning of this arc it hasn't happened yet and I doubt either Daphne or Sara would talk about her run for class election since they despise her so, but at this moment the police or some outher authorities might be investigating the assault and possible kidnapping and so she can't come speak. Or she's so distraught that something she wished would happen came true. Now one of her other friends should've contacted her by now, but maybe they're unable to talk or don't know how to break the news.

That's true, too. I was assuming (for some reason) the assault hadn't happened yet, but it has.
