 [23 July 10] What if Meighan's a robot?!
The plot thickens! And I can't help but feel a little bad for Lucy.

You're not going to believe this, but Meighan was a fembot.
Yes we knew about that all along Austin.
Still think Lucy could be a plant too. J'Cru's reveal was careless, but Lucy remembering her lines might be a clue that she's not who whe appears to be. I considered the possibility that everyone is really a professional and told that they're decieving a bunch of amateurs, but Sara isn't a pro and from what we've seen she's not in the know. Then again that could be the secret she's been keeping from Daphne.
Have to wait until Monday to see who is calling for Sara. Rich maybe?

I forget, J'Cru's pretend personality is... what? Martin's the dumb-but-sweet religious one, yes?

All that we've seen of J'Cru so far is that he's an incompetent cook, and that he likes whipped cream on sandwiches- both of which may be deliberate social engineering on his part. Martin is the sanctimonious religious one.

We've seen that J'Cru tends toward being cheerful to a fault. He's supposed to be that guy you know who's always irritatingly happy.
Apparently this is not the case.

And Lucy is more competent than she lets on. It has just occured to Sara that the entire show is a prank at her expense. And we all know how she hates pranks... let's see how she handles this. She might play along until an opportune moment comes along to "out" the entire cast... but then again, she seems about to get righteous pissed.

I can't tell if you're an idiot, or if you're being sarcastic.

Its not just her expense. It seems Martin is also a special guest of this "Dinner for Schmucks" reality show.

<insert 'oooohhh' sound here>
I'm kind of curious about how much of all the footage makes it to tv. Only enough to build up a specific kind of image for everyone, I imagine.

Unless for an even thicker plot Martin thinks that J'Cru is the clueless victim that he's supposed to drive crazy by being an over the top religious zealot.

It would be useless, therefore, to assume that when in a situation that was making her feel threatened and upset, she would walk out to save herself face and time and money. Or she could turn to the camera, smile sweetly, and state (at every opportunity), "Gosh, since I'm just 17, (whatever it is we're talking about) is so important!"

This is definitely a possibility. Everyone but Sara is a double-agent, each thinking he or she is the only one, when in fact, they're all meant to be "hell" for one another. If Sara's now seeing through this, though, she could crack it so wide open that Meighan ends up completely burned.

You know, if she IS a robot, it makes the mecha-barrista Penny future considerably more likely...
Just sayin'.

Okay, wouldn't she be able to sue them when she figures out that they aren't doing a play and they are filming her for a reality TV show without her permission? Cause to me that seems to be the case.
That and is Meg in on this? Her little speech about how the new generation is gonna "kill her kind" waaaaaay back when is playing in my head that she may be in on it too.

Sara and the rest of the cast are well aware that they are in a reality show, and that they are being filmed, as seen here and here. Why do people always ask about this?
