You're welcome, Christa-theman. <3 <3 And yes, absolutely, everyone should feel free to interpret the piece as they wish (as with any artwork); I wasn't trying to tease an "authoritative" interpretation out of you or anything like that. =D

I a) really like Helen's new look, even if I'm still not sure if it's supposed to be little girl trying too hard or college indie kind of thing, and b) am allergic to smooth, delicious lineart apparently. :C
Makeover Helen!
Also: there is a picture of mine on the first page of this thread posted over three years ago. It's reassuring to know that I don't suck nearly so much now.

Dear Wiggy,
I want more of your fanart/any art you have to offer. You have a deviant page?
XOXO
CJ

I was fiddling around with colored pencils this evening and decided to give Helen a shot. I chose to interpret her hair as pretty curly and layered, and I think she could work it. At least, as well as Helen can work anything.

Thank you! I had fun playing around with it, although I'm not certain if I like the lack of ink. I did just upload it to my dA account, if anybody wants to see it there: Deviantart link

I think the lack of ink adds to it, actually. To the general... feel of the picture.
Doesn't look very Helen (in spirit, I mean), though . The facial expression is too content and relaxed (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Uh, yeah, this is my first attempt at both fanart and coloring something in on photoshop, so the colors look kind of strange and unpolished.
It's supposed to be Penny and Aggie, although Penny kind of looks like Daphne for some weird reason...
Here
Also, Enkai's drawing of Helen is dang awesome.

That is all.
*ahem* As I said in my photobucket, where I posted the picture inspired by this quote, it's less of a fursuit and more of an anime-con catgirl, but you guys get the point.
****
And for the less AgEnny inclined, another bit of fanart featuring Penny:
Quote:"Do you know how HARD I worked on that STUPID GENDER-BENDING HACK EDITION of that STUPID, CHARMED-MEETS-MASTERPIECE-THEATRE play about old DEAD people? I gained FOUR POUNDS OF ARM MUSCLE! On me that looks like POPEYE!"
It's a little bit Popeye, a little bit pinup (the pose, as usual), and a little bit Sailor V (who knew being a Sailormoon fangirl would come in handy so often?). Penny's hair always gives me trouble but I think I'm getting a little bit better overall...
Sorry about the image quality -- our scanner crapped out and I'm kinda lazy. These are photos of my sketchbook pages, not scans.

Ceiling Aggie is watching you! XD
Nice work, Michael Ezra!
Hmm, now it's my turn...what to do, what to do...

Thanks, SchizoAuthoress. I like your Penny pin-ups, too, and the Spider-Man reference, in the caption for the tiger one, was cute. Penny and Mary Jane have, potentially, a lot in common.

 The Unofficial P&A SWIMSUIT ISSUE!
For my 1000th post (seems like only yesterday...*sniff*), the first of a series I hope you'll enjoy.
As my figure drawing still needs improvement (there's an understatement), I've taken the easy way out and used actor or model photos as a foundation, i.e. by "finding" the edges and tracing digitally. (I figure, as long as I admit it up front...)
Today: Amanda Seyfried as Penny:

I believe in equal opportunity cheesecake, so here's one of Jack, inspired by this catalogue number. Don't get too excited now, Katy-Ann!
